Refund, Cancellation & Ticketing Policy - AmravatiEvents

Effective date: 15 September 2025

Important: AmravatiEvents acts as a facilitator. Refund/cancellation rules are set by the Organiser. Where the Organiser’s policy differs from ours, the Organiser’s published policy usually prevails, except where consumer laws require otherwise.

1) All Sales May Be Final (Unless Policy Allows)

  • Many events are non-refundable once booked, except in cases of event cancellation or where required by law.

  • Please review the specific event page for any event-specific refund or exchange rules before purchasing.

2) Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled (not postponed):

  • You will be eligible for a refund of the ticket face value and applicable taxes.

  • Convenience/processing fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or the Organiser instructs otherwise.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible. If that fails, we may offer alternative methods (e.g., bank transfer, wallet/credit).

3) Postponement / Reschedule

If an event is postponed or rescheduled:

  • Your ticket will typically remain valid for the new date/time.

  • If you cannot attend the new date, eligibility for a refund or credit depends on the Organiser’s policy. We will communicate available options when we’re notified.

4) Partial Cancellations / Line-up or Venue Changes

  • Changes to performers, speakers, timing, or venue do not automatically entitle you to a refund unless the Organiser’s policy states otherwise.

  • Significant changes will be communicated when we are informed by the Organiser.

5) Customer-Requested Cancellations

  • Voluntary cancellations, no-shows, or inability to attend (e.g., travel issues, scheduling conflicts) are not refundable unless explicitly allowed by the event’s policy or applicable law.

  • Some events may offer name changes or ticket transfers before a deadline, subject to Organiser approval and fees.

6) Entry Denied

  • If you are denied entry due to breach of venue/Organiser rules (e.g., age restriction, intoxication, prohibited items, invalid ID), no refund is due.

  • If denial is due to overbooking or Organiser error, the Organiser’s remedy (refund or alternative) will apply.

7) Refund Timelines

  • Once a refund is approved/initiated, please allow 5–14 business days for the amount to reflect, depending on your bank/payment provider. We’ll notify you by email/SMS when processed on our side.

8) How to Request Support

  • Use the “My Bookings” section or contact support with your Order ID, event name, and registered email/phone.

  • We can only discuss orders with the purchaser of record (or as required by law).

9) Payment Disputes / Chargebacks

  • If you file a chargeback while a refund is already being processed, it may delay resolution.

  • Unauthorised transactions: contact us immediately. We may require additional documentation to investigate.

10) Service Fees & Non-Refundable Charges

  • Convenience/processing fees, delivery fees, and similar charges are generally non-refundable, except in event cancellation where the Organiser authorises refund or where required by law.

11) Ticket Delivery & Access

  • E-tickets/QR codes are usually delivered by email/SMS/app shortly after confirmation.

  • Keep tickets secure. Lost/stolen/shared screenshots can be invalidated. We are not responsible for losses due to unauthorised sharing or resale.

12) Resale & Transfer

  • Unauthorised resale may lead to ticket cancellation without refund.

  • If permitted, transfers/name changes may incur fees and deadlines set by the Organiser.

13) Force Majeure

  • No refunds are due where performance is prevented by events beyond the Organiser’s or venue’s reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, government orders), unless the Organiser’s policy provides otherwise or required by law.
